Trent Porter '15 Recruiting Profile

My goals for the next journey in my life would be to play baseball at the collegiate level while earning a bachelor's degree.  I am not 100% sure of what that degree may be in but I am leaning towards a degree in secondary education.  It has been a dream of mine to be a coach one day and through teaching I feel that I could obtain this.  I am looking for a school that is strong both in academics as well as athletics.  I am also looking for a coach that cares about his players on the field and as well as in the classroom.     I may not be the tallest or fastest kid on a team but I feel  that I would be a welcome addition to any team because I am a "team" player!.  I am the kid that is first to practice and the last one to leave.  I am the one that tries to turn a single into a double.  I understand that baseball is a game.  Sure, I would love to win every game but that is unrealistic and loosing is part of that game and I am not the guy that is going to dwell on the lose but how can I take that lose and turn it into a victory.
