My name is Griffin Jordan and I am a senior at Riverside Brookfield High School in Riverside, Illinois. I consider myself different from most other athletes in high school. I value my dedication to baseball very highly, and my passion for it is boundless. I love the game for more than just the sport of it. It has given me friendships and close bonds that I aim to recreate in college. I take pride in not only my athletic abilities, but also in my sportsmanship and skill of being a great leader and teammate. Three words I would use to describe myself are hard-working, dedicated, and kindhearted. Throughout my life I always have striven for greatness, whether on the baseball diamond or in the classroom. I am intrinsically motivated for success. What distinguishes me from others is that I fully understand the amount of hours in the cage, field, and weight room it takes to truly be successful. When it comes to my beliefs, I think the truest statement would be "you get out what you put in." I take this with me in everything I do. I apply it to school as well because for me academics are just as important as athletics.
