Chris Bachman '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a sophomore in high school have a 3.4 GPA in a college prep academic program. I am a left-handed pitcher with an official top fastball at 83-84 and unofficially (non-game) higher than that. I am committed to spending time in the gym and adding muscle which will add to my VELO.  I have great command of my slider and curve and can utilize my change-up effectively. 

I value being a team player and have a lot of experience playing first baseball and outfield. At 6'3 I feel like I am still growing physically and would not be surprised if I was taller after my senior year. My goals athletically include playing in a division one program at a school that values academics. My mom is a nurse and my dad has a PhD and they want a school that prepares their students well for the future. I hope to be drafted and am looking for a program that has a reputation of putting players into the Major Leagues.

Most recently, on my travel baseball team (5 Star Nationals) at the 2019 WWBA 2022 Grads - 15U National Championship in Cartersville Georgia, I was named to the All-Tournament Pitching Team.
