• Jevon is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the diamond. Defensive abilities are outstanding as he takes a quick first step (7.09 60 time) and moves well laterally. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. He gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy / carry (86 mph velocity) on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line with power showing best to the pull side. With 2 years to further develop, Jevon has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.
