Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Chris Pelletier. It has been a dream of mine to play baseball in college since I was 6 years old. When I was 6, I started playing on a travel team with my older brother Zack. Since that age, my love for the game has continued to grow. I have had many opportunities to play on many travel teams, as well as showcase teams in several states. my primary position is pitching. I have also had a lot of experience at both corners of the infield. I am a very reliable player in all of these positions. I am unlike most players who tend to drop their body language in a negative way, whether it's on the mound for pitching, or an at bat at the plate. I try very hard to maintain good body language, both at the plate and on the mound, no matter what the outcome is. I have learned, and continue to learn, how important the mental part of the game is. As a student, I have managed to keep a 3.5-4.0 gpa throughout my freshman year. I believe i would make a great candidate for your baseball team because I have strong leadership skills, a great work ethic, and I take being a good teammate very seriously. I want to become the best that I can possibly be, while also working with others who have the same positive mentality and goals. I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of a team that has these characteristics as well.
