Growing up, sports have always been a very big part on my life. I have stepped onto a field with a ball in my hand for as long as I can remember. A goal of mine is to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am an exceptional candidate for this role, as I am a team player. From early on I was blessed with coaches who focused on the importance of a team and each individual doing his job to benefit his teammates. I have never been the player who has had to be the star of the show, I am the player that will do what is asked of him and play where needed. A coach of mine would ask our team each week, how do we want to be remembered? That wasn't just about on the field but in the classroom and in life. We were pushed to be leaders on and off the field and I continue that work mindset as I play varsity football and baseball as well as in the classroom. As a collegiate baseball player these skills and character qualities will follow me onto the field in my athletic goals as well as in the college classroom as I strive to reach my academic goals.
