Jared Hasik '16 Recruiting Profile

I have dreamed of playing college baseball since I was about 8 years old.  I started playing with a local team that won state three years in a row. I live in a town that is in the middle of nowhere.  The summer before I started high school, I tried out for a team in Wichita, Kansas, which is three hours from home.  I made the team and continue to play with them to this day.  Joining the Wichita Reds team has given me the opportunity to work all year with some of the best coaches in Kansas.  I am only 5'8" 160 lbs. but I have more drive and determination than anyone.  I have started for my high school varsity baseball team my freshman and sophomore years.  I was also named All-Conference both years.  On top of this, I started as a freshman and sophomore on the varsity football team and played varsity basketball as a freshman and started as a sophomore.  I have a 3.92 GPA and take honors classes.  I am in National Honor Society and am in the top 5% of my class.
