Grant Thompson '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’5”, 195 lb right handed pitcher from Topeka, KS. I will graduate in the year 2019 from Jefferson West High School.  I am the starting pitcher for the varsity baseball team at Jefferson West and earned 1^st team All-league 4A honors my sophomore and junior years, and I was an Honorable Mention All-State pitcher my Junior year. I have been the starting pitcher on the Next Level club team for 2 years. I have a 3.9 GPA and a 27 on the ACT.  I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between academics and baseball. At this time, I plan to pursue a physical therapy degree.  I would like to be at a program where I would make an immediate impact on the team. It has always been my dream to play baseball in college where I can share my passion for the sport with others.
