Connor Witt '27 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to continue to play my favorite sport - baseball - after high school. I want to play baseball while I continue my education in college. As part of baseball, I hope to see my skills and abilities continue to grow and get better in order to make strong contributions to my team.

What makes me unique is my ability to play multiple positions. Currently, l split equal time on the field between catcher and middle infield, while also having the ability to play third, and the occasional outfield. Game by game, I play where I am most needed based on others pitching or catching. I also think my personality is one that wants to encourage others to seek their best and for everyone to play as a team, to play our best.

I am very focused on my academics and want to improve in the classroom as much as the baseball diamond. My hope is to graduate with a professional degree that may let me continue connections inside baseball. My overall goal that I am seeking in life after college is to be able to provide for my family and make them proud.
