My name is Thomas Falsone and I'm a right hand pitcher with an aspiration to play competitive college baseball at a high-ranking academic institution. I have been working extremely hard to improve my game while maintaining my status as a top student. My unweighed GPA is 3.92/4.0 (4.45/4.0 weighted) and I currently rank 17th in my class of 549 (top 3%). I have been recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, and hope to achieve National AP Scholar status. I will graduate in 2014 with a STEM diploma and 11 AP courses under my belt. My 2-part SAT score is 1470 (790 math, 680 reading). Last spring, pitching out of the bullpen, I helped my varsity team to its first-ever Maryland 4A State Championship.
I am also a three-year starter on the South River HS varsity swim team, excelling in the 50, 100, and 200 free. Our 200 Free Relay team won the regional finals this year. I expect to be named team captain in my senior year.
My senior year athletic goals are to earn a starting spot in the pitching rotation and help my team win baseball games. To support these goals I have been working extensively with pitching coach (and former major league pitcher) John Dopson and continually improving my fitness as a member of the local Cross-Fit gym.
Thanks for viewing my profile. Please contact me with any questions.
