Personal Statement
When I was 4 years old, I started playing tee ball and ever since then, it has been my favorite sport.
I have always loved to be on the field and contribute to the team. Every day I work hard and put in the effort to excel at baseball. Some of the drills I work on are weighted balls, stretchy bands, and plyo-wall. There will never be a time where I give up, never be a time where I want to quit because I love this sport too much. If it’s a day of rest from the bullpen, I am a supportive teammate from the dugout. Being a good teammate is an important train that I try to model
In college, I would like to pursue a major in the science field, specifically biomedical engineering. I would like to further my knowledge in this subject by attending a college with a commendable science and engineering program. I currently have a 4.2 GPA and was an NJHS member in my freshman year and am now an NHS member in my Junior year.
Although baseball is my main passion, I also enjoy playing varsity basketball, unified basketball (assisting players with special needs), and golf, so that I can be a well-rounded athlete. Effort is something that I have never taken for granted and have always put in everything that I can.
For any team that I have the privilege to play for, I will continue to have a positive attitude and put in my full effort.
