My name is Francis Perez. I am a junior in highschool. I am 16 years old from Brooklyn New York, while both parents are from the Dominican Republic. My goal is to play college ball after highschool. I am versatile around the infield especially the middle infield, and will give my best wherever I’m placed. I am a disipline hitter who would take their walks, work up the count and do anything possible to get on base. I am a contact hitter who knows my lane to drive the ball where the ball is being placed, and get on base. I played In a few tournaments when I lived in New York, one of them that stands out to me, was winning the championship in the Baseball Heaven tournament in Yaphank, Ny which was honoring breast cancer during the time . Once I moved to Mass in 2017, I played my first year here in Thurgood Marshalls Middle School in Lynn as the starting second basebasmen, and also ended up winning a championship there and ended up going undefeated in my sixth grade year. From my performance in middle school season I got invited from a coach to join his fall team which ended up coming short in the semis, and was my last time stepping on a field that year. I got called to return the following season but wasn’t able to due to personal issues. And in 2022 I made my return to the field and made my varsity highschool team, played summer ball and looking to keep improving from here out, get better, knock the rust up and work up from here, to hopefully being able to complete one of my dreams which is to play college ball.
