Personal Statement
During the 2018 high school baseball season at Bridgewater-Raynham High School, I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to show my talent as a sophomore on the varsity baseball team. I started in centerfield in the second game of the season. I ended up playing a clean game in the field as well as going 4-5 at the plate with 2 singles, a double, and a triple with 5 RBIs and two runs scored. From that point on for the rest of the season, I started in centerfield and lead off, where I excelled at the Division I Varsity level.
My first time stepping on a baseball field I instantly fell in love with the game and everything about it. I’ve learned that I’m naturally able to keep my emotions in check even when faced with adversity. While playing the game I love, I am able to make others around me better. I understand that the “student” part in “student-athlete” always comes first. I have been a leader on every team I have played for and will continue to be one. I am willing to to put the work in to be the best player I can be.
