My name is Anthony Marsi and I am a very motivated student athlete. I have applied to and been accepted by several great schools where I plan on studying Finance with a specialization in wealth management. I also plan on continuing my baseball career as a catcher at the school I attend.
I'm a very team oriented player who readily assumes a leadership role. I work hard to keep my body in great baseball shape, and practice hitting and fielding year round. I feel there is always room to improve, and think of myself as very coachable. My coaches would agree.
What makes me different is that everything clicked for me during my Sophomore year in high school. I began getting up early, going to the gym and setting goals for myself. That translated into better academic and athletic performance. This discipline will allow me to succeed in a transition to college baseball and my future career. When I'm not playing baseball, I'm a Personal Care Assistant for my special needs sister, Jessica. I take great pride in being her protector and I believe this experience has made me a very responsible young adult. I believe I will be an asset to any organization I am a part of.
