I do whatever necessary to reach my full potential as a student athlete. Doing so allows me to stay eligible on the field, set a positive example as a team leader and be there for my teammates when they need me most. Sports have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. No matter the sport, if there was a ball involved, I enjoyed the game and the competition. Growing up I’ve played football, golf, basketball, soccer and baseball. Baseball is my passion. It’s a game I love to play and a game that I excel at playing. I started playing baseball at age 5 and primarily played pitcher, catcher and outfield until the age of 13. At 13, at the urging of coaches, I focused on developing my skills as a middle infielder. I take great pride in being a team leader. I prepare for and expect success; I expect to win. Winning is an attitude. Winning is part of who I am. Given the opportunity to continue toward my goal of achieving excellence both in the classroom and on the diamond, doing what I love, would truly be an amazing experience.
