Austin Leclerc '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 17-Year-Old Junior at Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School in Palmer, Massachusetts. I am a single-sport athlete and participate in Varsity Baseball. I am going on my second year as a varsity starter. I play catcher and first base.

Ever since I was 6 years old, baseball has been in my blood. Starting from my back yard, to the little league field, to high school level and now hopefully the college level. I'm always the first person to practice and the last one to leave. I'm the player that always asks my coach for that extra pitch in the batting cage or that extra 5 minutes during defensive break ups. I am a hard working devoted baseball player with a lot of knowledge of the game.

I devote most of my time to baseball, playing it competitively on high school/college level teams during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. But always, academics has been very important to me. I would like to become very successful when I'm older and I believe that will all start with a very good education. I will study as hard in the classroom as I will practice as hard on the field.

I want to play as a freshman in college, but I also want to play at the highest level of competition. I am devoted to continuous improvement and trying to get where I want  to be. My goal is to make an impact on any team I am selected on no matter where or who that team should be.
