Joseph Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

In college I would like to complete a degree in Psychology in 4 years or less as a base for a law degree. I believe that I am a good candidate for a college team because I work hard and I don't get down on myself if things go bad in a game.  All of the coaches I've played for have all commented on my happiness and quick learning. In school, I am eager to learn and able to adapt quickly. On the diamond I have great control of my fastball and can hit my spots while sitting around mid to low 70's. I throw a 2 seam and a 4 seam for fastballs and for offspeed I have a 12 to 6 curveball, a circle changeup, and a splitter. I can also field the position well on bunts and can get to first quick. At 3rd I can field balls cleanly and make a powerful throw across the diamond. This year I had the best average at the plate for my hitting team. Simply, I can put the bat on the ball and hit it hard. I am a very smart baserunner although I'm not terribly fast.
