Personal Statement
Since the day I started playing baseball, I immediately set my long term goals in the sport. That goal is still intact to this day: "I want to be a major league baseball player". In the past 12 years or so in the sport, I have put my 100% effort into bettering myself as a ballplayer, both physically and mentally. I work my hardest so that I will be ready to compete and succeed at the Division 1 level of collegiate baseball, at a highly competitive program that is also academically strong. I have also worked hard in the classroom, I currently hold a 3.7 GPA (while taking several advanced classes) and am looking to improve after the completion of my sophomore year here at Forest Hills Central. As a ball player, I play because I love the game. I am teachable and always put the team first.
