Personal Statement

I maintain a 3.95 GPA. My parents have instilled that school is just as important as the sports I play. I work extremely hard academically and put just as much energy into becoming a better baseball player.

I have always been a strong, 4th at bat in the lineup, am a left-handed hitter, while I throw right-handed. My primary position is 3rd base and my secondary position is outfield.  On the field I communicate clear, loud, and in a positive manner. I am in the weight room participating in a class called PEAK, as well as PowerStrength. Over the winter months I participate in Driveline Weighted Ball Arm Care Program, Infield Training, Advanced Hitting, as well as Speed and Agility Training.

Positive attitude. Optimistic. Communication. Approachable. Confidence. Commitment. Service.  I believe these are a few qualities that I bestow. For example, I have a positive attitude when I encounter difficult situations. I communicate well with others in ways that make me approachable.  Whether it is on the football or baseball field, I communicate in a positive manner with my teammates and coaches. I feel as though I am a leader who is approachable at school and on both of my teams. I am well liked by adults, small children, and different groups of friends. I always approach my teachers and coaches by asking questions because I want to get better by learning.  I am confident with the choices I make.  I have excelled by receiving all A’s throughout throughout high school thus far and I am on the most competitive travel baseball team on this side of the state.  However, these things would not have been a reality without hard work, determination, and commitment on my part.   I also believe that if you make a commitment, you are making a promise.

In conclusion, I would like to ensure that I am a hard worker who accepts criticism and will do whatever to make myself better. I want to find a college that works for me skill wise, academically, and one that will push me to my fullest potential. I am willing to look at all options that come my way, and want to become the best student athlete that I can possibly be!

Thank you for the time and best of luck in the upcoming baseball season!
