Ever since I started playing competitive baseball, I have dreamed to play at the collegiate level. Playing baseball in college is not for everyone and is a big commitment and a lot of hard work but I am 100% up for the challenge. I promise you that I am one of the top and hardest and determined workers you will find. There is no challenge too tough and no task I won’t take. I am bound to be the best baseball player I can be through hard work and commitment as you can see through the improvement of my measurables.
Being a catcher I am the leader and voice of the team on and off the field. I always pick my teammates up when they get down, because there is more to the game than one bad play, and we need them every pitch. I also lead by example with hard work, and going all out on every play.
In the classroom, I struggle a little bit, more so in math, but that is nothing hard work and determination can’t solve. I do know I am a student athlete, student coming first, and that to play college ball anywhere my grades need to improve, which I will do and will finish my senior year with straight A’s and at least a 21 on my ACT.
I want to attend a college where I can succeed in the classroom and on the field. I am open to any college and want to compete with the best, because I know I can play with along with anybody and want to get the chance to prove it. I can be the best on the field and in the classroom, and I vow to do so.
