I have been playing baseball since I was five years old and have always wanted to be able to play at the next level. Shortly after I started playing baseball, I fell in love with pitching. I have played for multiple different summer teams and worked with many coaches to help me improve. I would be a good fit for any team because I am always ready to work hard and learn. I am very coachable and will try to use any advice or do whatever I can to help my team. I have a good head and stay calm in pressure situations.
Athletically, I excel in three sports. I play quarterback, small forward, and pitcher. I am my high school's 2nd all time leading passer in football and I still have my senior season to compete. In basketball, I have been on the varsity team since my freshman year. I have averaged a double double both years. I am on my area's dream team, won all conference first team, and was an all state honorable mention. In baseball, I broke my school's single season strikeout record with 140 strikeouts in 70 innings pitched. I was also named all conference, all-area dream team, all district, and all region.
Finally, I perform at a high level in the classroom. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school. I am a member of the National Honor Society and have been selected to participate in math competitions. I am planning to study engineering after high school, but haven't narrowed it down specifically yet.
