Garrett Swan '22 Recruiting Profile

I've been very fortunate to have outstanding coaches throughout my life in every sport I played.  All of them had an impact on who I am and my drive to compete at the highest level.  From the time I made the first travel team I played for at 11, I knew I wanted to play baseball in college (and hopefully beyond)!  The best part about baseball is how close everyone on our team becomes during the seasons.  We are always pushing each other to get better!  As a catcher, I've learned how important it is to always be thinking ahead and what I can do to help out my pitchers and teammates.  For the last 2 years I've been blessed to train with Eric Haase with the Detroit Tigers who has helped me so much in my catching as well as the mental approach to the game.  I lift 3-4 days/week and work very hard in maintaining my grades as well.  I will continue to work my butt off for your team if given the chance!  I have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and would love the opportunity to show you my abilities as a player.  Thank you!
