As a student-athlete, I put the classroom first. I have worked very hard to maintain a 3.8 GPA while also being a part of the National Honor Society. Grades have always been the most important thing to me and what my family believe in. As an athlete, I push myself every day to continue to become stronger, smarter, and healthier on the baseball field.
On the baseball field, I pride myself on my ability to lead a team, as well as be a team player when needed and help get the win as a team. Although I may not be the type of player that is going to hit 30 home runs a season, I am the player that will come up with the key hit in a tight spot. I maintain a high on base percentage, a high average, as well as driving in a high amount of RBI's every season.
My family plays an extremely large role in who I am, therefore they are extremely important to me. Although there might be occasional fighting between me and my younger brother, we both are able to push each other to become better baseball players as well as becoming better people. As for my parents, they have always been supportive of me and pushed me to become better as well. From my dad taking baseballs off the head in the cage, from my mom changing her plans to take me around the country for baseball, they have always been the ones supporting me. All in all, my family is what has made me who I am today, as well as gotten me where I am today.
