Jacob Porter '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Porter and I am currently in my junior year at Portage Central High School. I am a student athlete who wants to have success not only on the field but off the field in the classroom and my community. I play baseball with a passion and bring a positive winning attitude to any team. I will always work my hardest to get better no matter how hard it is. My academics are about as good as it gets because I strive to work just as hard in the classroom as I will on the field. I always try to challenge myself and make myself work hard to reach my goals, which is to play collegiate baseball.  I have played travel baseball since I was twelve years old, most recently playing for the Kalamazoo Maroons in the fall of 2014.
