Luca Passalacqua '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luca Passalacqua, a 2025 graduate from Stoney Creek High School. My goal is to play college baseball. I've played all my life but I never had the desire to play at the next level. That was up until the winter of (2021-2022). I was entering my first season of basketball at Stoney Creek and I was fighting an ongoing injury. I found out minor surgery was needed on my knee. This caused me to miss all of that basketball season. During my time off it was hard not being able to play sports or do anything physically. But this was a life lesson in a way for me. I realized the role sports played in my life and what kept me going was the hope I would return in time for the baseball season. I pushed myself and I did. Experiencing this made me realize to not take my abilities for granted and make something out of myself.  Ever since I have changed my lifestyle and my priorities to improving my game. 

I'm dedicated and I'm a leader. As a player, my goal on the field is to keep everyone aware. I'm vocal which is what I believe makes me stand out from every other player. I'm going to continue to work as a player as well as a student to achieve my goals.
