Jeff Hackenmueller '13 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved the game of baseball. I am early to every game and practice and the last one leaving the field. I have been playing AAA ball since I was 10 years old along with school baseball. I started as a utility player/2nd basemen but have transformed into a solid catcher for the past 4 years. I am a strong team leader with good communication skills. I am very coachable and respect all players, coaches and umpires of the game. I am interested in attending a college with a great Secondary Education/Coaching program or Business Management. My goal is to play college baseball while I am gaining a quality education. I want to help win ball games for any college that needs a hard working, motivated, dependable leader and team player. I just completed my junior year baseball season with the honor of being captain as well as the starting varsity catcher where at mid-season my batting average hit 462 and my OB% at .548. We finished the season as Conference Champs but then lost out in sections.
