Colby Watland '20 Recruiting Profile

Going to state my sophomore summer with the Brainerd Warrior VFW team and as well with the Legion team has been the highlight of my highschool baseball career so far.  I am grateful for my parents who have been a huge influence in my life. They have shaped me into the man/baseball player I am today. I've been playing baseball ever since I was 5 years old and have always admired it. Through baseball I learned commitment, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance when we were the last ranked team going into VFW state and ended up taking 2nd place. My academic goals for college and highschool are too obtain good grades, be a part of a successful baseball team,  interact with my baseball team and community, and become a better athlete. What makes me different from other athletes is I strive to be the best I can be, whether it be in school,  in the field, or in the weight room.
