Jay Krieger '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is James (Jay) Krieger and I am a 6’0” infield player and RHP pitcher in the 2023 class out of Fridley, MN. 

I have been thinking about my future beyond high school and have been researching colleges that would be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I currently play baseball for Totino-Grace High School, Fridley Legion, and Minnesota Millers baseball (Pitch 2 Pitch) club team. I’ve been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and have been starting at 3rd, 2nd, Shortstop, and pitch on all my High School and Club teams. In addition to continuing my education, I would like to play baseball at the collegiate level. I'm a dedicated, versatile player with quick hands and a quick bat. I'm confident player with a strong arm and high Baseball IQ.

I’m a 3.7GPA, A honor roll, and a member of the National Honor Society. I am interested in pursuing a degree in Business. 

I’m currently at 84 mph today, and my coach believe with more training I can increase that speed gaining strength in both my legs and arms.  My references will attest that I’m the kind of player you want in your program.  I work hard and encourage all my teammates.
