I am going into 8th grade and have moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. I play football and baseball, and I like to photograph fast cars and make art when I am not playing sports. I like football, but I love playing baseball. This summer was my second year of travel baseball. In my two years playing travel baseball, I have played on official tournament teams in the Detroit area. In terms of baseball, I love to pitch, hit, and compete. I am a hard worker because of my family but also because I want to play at the highest levels.
School is very important to me and my family. My father and stepmother are both professors, and my mother is a curator of education at an art museum. I like to attend my dad's classes, and am looking forward to learning in college. It is my goal to play college baseball at a school where academics are as valued as winning baseball games. Both are very important to me. I am only in 8th grade but I would like to major in art and mathematics because they are my favorite subjects. I love to pitch because it makes me think about ways to get outs. It is like math and art. My velocity is good, but my command and ability to think about pitch selection and location on the mound is the best part of my game.
I see myself as a leader. I am not the loudest guy in the room, but I want to be an example to my teammates. I have a lot of confidence and I cannot wait to compete for your school some day.
