I have been working hard in the past off season gaining 10lbs and 5-6mph on my FB. I just recently topped at 87mph. I have become much more disciplined, and it has paid off on the field for this summer season 2019. I am more mentally in my game, and have more endurance staying strong throughout a complete game.
Competing in several major Perfect Game tournaments around the U.S. such as Arizona, Atlanta, Florida and Indianapolis starting as a fourteen year old playing at the 17U level is definitely the highlight of my baseball career. Playing against high level competition really tested my ability to hold my own against bigger and more developed opponents, but I was able to keep to the grind and ended up a better baseball player and teammate because of it. Developing as a player along side my teammates who are also young was a really good experience because we managed to come back from a tough summer season to then win the August Select tournament in Minnesota and take down the number one ranked Blizzard Blue in the championship in 2018.
Through the great coaching that I have received I have developed a a better understanding for the game along with the ability to understand how to better myself as a player but most importantly how effective my energy could be to my teammates in the dugout. I learned that just because I have a bad game that doesn't mean that I should throw off the rest of my teammates with bad energy. I'm looking for program that will suit me academically as well as athletically. I believe that I have the mentality, work ethic, and determination to positively impact a program.
