Kai Larsen '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kai Larsen, and baseball is my true passion. It has been a goal of mine to play baseball for as long and as far as it will take me. I have worked throughout my youth and high school career to advance to the collegiate level and have so much to offer to any college baseball program. I am a dynamic shortstop with an advanced baseball IQ that allows me to excel as a leader on and off the field. I have a high level of understanding of how to field the ball and execute plays. My reaction time and anticipation allow me to make even the toughest plays in the field look routine. My athleticism, combined with my baseball knowledge, allow me to help contribute to team success. As a hitter, I am the guy you can trust to get on base each time I'm at the plate, as well as a threat on the base path. As a pitcher, I have a high-velocity fastball with a repertoire of off-speed pitches that I mix in frequently. As a student-athlete, I shine both in the classroom and on the field. I am a strong student, taking mainly honors and advanced placement course to further my learning and prepare me for the future. Finally, my maturity both on the field and off the field are what make me a strong addition to any team. I know that I will be a strong asset to any college program and I look forward to connecting with coaches and schools that see me as a possible fit in their program.
