Personal Statement
I played USSSA baseball from ten years old until I tried out and made our American Legion team a year early at age 14 in 2016. I continue to play for our American Legion team and was invited and played for Peak Performance in the Spring of 2018. Now in the Summer of 2019 I am playing for the Cornhusker Five Points Bank Chiefs, which is our Senior American Legion team.
I attended Adams Central High School which is a rural school and in the summer of 2018 I transferred in to Hastings Senior High School where I was a starter in football, swam and was a starter in the 2019 baseball season. Our team the Hastings High School Tigers took second in State this year and it was a great experience.
Baseball is my true passion and I enjoy football, hunting and being outdoors. With my sports and school schedule I do not have a lot of set time off, as such I work on my days off doing light construction, working on local ranches and working for local businesses that need short term help. In the summer of 2017 I started to use my baseball teammates to take on larger construction and ranch jobs. This allowed not only myself, but also my teammates to earn money in the busiest time of year.
My desire is to play baseball at the college level in a program that can benefit from my talent both on and off the field.
