Kevin Grant '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0" Outfielder from Omaha, Nebraska graduating from High School in 2010. I was born in Alexandria, VA and have traveled all over the U.S. I was drafted by the Detroit Tigers (42nd Round) of the 2010 MLB Draft. I have played throughout the U.S. and have been to the following events: -ChiSox Area Code Tryouts -MLB Midwest Scout Showcase -MLB East Coast Showcase -Nebraska Sluggers - Premier League (Summer Baseball Team) My family is worth mentioning as I get a big portion of my values from them. Both of my uncles on my mother's side were both drafted in the MLB draft and one of them is still in baseball. I have two cousins that played football. One for the Tennessee Titans (NFL) and another for Notre Dame. My Father played D-I Lacrosse at the US Air Force Academy. My mother and father met in the Pentagon where they worked in Congressional Relations for the Air Force. It is from my family that I get my work ethic, values and positive attitude.
