Nathan Whitehill '19 Recruiting Profile

  My Name is Nate Whitehill. I am an 11th grader at Papillion LaVista high school which is located in Papillion Nebraska. Baseball is my passion; it’s what I love to do. I am a 6'2 junior weighing 205 pounds. I am a left-handed pitcher and I also play first base and outfield. During varsity baseball for my school in spring I had a .51 ERA pitching 14 innings with 17 strike outs. In the summer my most memorable moment was winning the legion state championship and going to regionals in North Dakota. We played our Nebraska rivals and I hit a 2 run homerun. I also play varsity football, basketball, tennis and fishing in my free time. My collegiate goals are finding a place I can contribute right away while getting a great education. My aspiration is going somewhere with great coaches and great people and being able to help out the team in anyway possible. What makes me a good candidate for teams? I work hard in everything I do such as academics, baseball, football, weightlifting even fishing. My differences in athletics is I don’t want to be good, I need to be good in order to prove it to myself. I guarantee I’ll be the hardest worker in the weight room and on the field. My current GPA is a 3.4 and I plan on improving it and striving for a 4.0.  Thank you for checking out my profile!
