College is the next big step for me, to get to where I want to be. Both academically and with atheltics. Being from a small island I have learned to be appreciative of any chance I get at potentially making my dreams come true. Over the years playing baseball, it has made me a better person mentally and physically. Playing in games where it was rough at times, has definately built my character and attitude. Always having a positive attitude, and embracing the game I love, is what I learned are the biggest things, before I step on the field.
Taking honors classes has helped me to become a better student. Learning how to put in the work in the classroom but also having time to be play, has been a good lesson for me. Being a student is something I take seriously, and my efforts to keep my grades as high as they can be, is one of my highest priorities.
I can assure you I am ready for my next big challenge in the future, which is college. Always keeping my head up no matter how hard the times, is a positive quality I have. My work ethic and ability to get it done in the classroom tells me I am ready to take on the challenge of attending your school.
