I first started playing baseball when I stepped on the T-ball field at age 4 and it has been a huge part of who I am and what motivates me ever since. I have known since middle school that my drive and focus was to play in college and beyond. I know that playing in college is a hard earned privilege and an opportunity that will shape and change my life.
Through dedication, I have achieved a high baseball IQ; strong performance and pitching skills on the mound; flexibility and quick reflexes on first base; increasing consistency with powerful contact hitting; and the respect and support of my coaches and teammates. I have focused on my physical and mental strength and resilience over the last two years. My goals drive my structure and the benefits continue to advance me on the field and in the classroom.
I work hard year round on my baseball skills, playing on my high school team, training and competing with my AAU travel team, playing fall ball, and working closely with my pitching and hitting coaches. My parents would say, it is a rare moment when I don’t have either a bat or ball in my hands, practicing my form, as naturally as I breathe.
Baseball is my passion and I know it will be an important part of my future. I also want to share that I am a person that is devout, a teammate first at heart, a focused student, and a person who puts family first.
I am looking for a college where I can continue to play and advance my baseball skills, excel at all the aspects of who I am, and where I can discover even more about myself.
