I'm Luis Mendoza, a class of 2029 catcher and second basemen for the Braves (club team) with a 3.8 GPA and a passion for combining my love for baseball with a real academic rigor. I take pride in thinking ahead reading hitters, anticipating shifts, and making split-second decisions. When things don’t go my way, I reset fast and stay locked in for the next play. What sets me apart is my combination of calm leadership and quick baseball IQ, paired with strong academic focus. I maintain composure under pressure, respect those around me, and bounce back fast qualities that build team trust. On the field, I anticipate plays, recognize strategy, and act decisively. Off the field, I apply that same focus in the classroom, which reflects my discipline and readiness for college life.
