Martin Chavez '23 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration  is to play in a D1 school. I have been playing baseball since I was five years old. My love for baseball started with little league for a few years, then I went on to play club ball at 8. I currently play club ball and high school baseball.  One thing I am very proud of was to start varsity as a freshman over a senior.  I am a great team player, I work very hard, and always leaving it all out on the field. I go to the cages 3 times a week to work with my hitting coach, Carlos Carrasco. I also put in work on my own very consistently threw out the year. I’m also very proud of my academics, I am in the top 20% in my class. I have letter twice for academics. I’ve had a 3.9 since 8th grade.
