Anthony Jennings '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony Jennings, I am 16 years old and a junior at St.Johns Prep H.S in Astoria, New York. I live in Woodhaven, New York. I am 6' 0ft and weigh 160 lbs. I have played sports ( Football, Basketball and Baseball ) since I was 4 years old. I found myself always wanting to play Baseball and pitching was always my favorite position. I focused on the position and became good at it. Now, this is all I want to do. As I entered High School as a freshman I made the Junior Varsity team. We won the CHSAA Championship that year. My sophomore year on April 18, 2012, I threw a no hitter complete game 12 strike outs vs Scared Heart. I also play on a travel team called the Brooklyn Cougars since I was 11 years old. We travel a lot and have won many championships. I am a three time back to back to back 2011 & 2012 & 2013 Cy Young award winner for my team. All I want to do is pitch, so hopefully my grades and arm can get me into a great school. I am a 2 nd honor roll student. My main goal is to better my grades so that I can get accepted to a great college and graduate with my degree. My dream is to get drafted as a pitcher in Major League Baseball.
