Jackson Amann '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jackson Amann.  I am from Kenmore, New York. I attend Kenmore West High School and am a member of the Class of 2025. My goal is to play baseball at the college level.

For as long as I can remember there was always a love for baseball inside of me. Baseball is a huge part of my life and has brought me tons of joy.  It has also made me stronger both mentally and physically. One of the many reasons why I believe I succeed, not just in baseball, but in anything that I am a part of is because of my work ethic. I believe that in order to do anything to the best of your ability you have to have the best work ethic in the room. Being called up to Varsity for the 2021 sectionals as an eighth grader is something I am very proud of. Coaches witnessed my strong work ethic and knew that I had something to offer the Varsity team, on and off the field.  

I pride myself on being the hardest worker on the ball field and in school. A result of my hard work is earning a starting spot on varsity as a 9th grader and competing my way into a First Team All NFL Team. Something that is very important to me is making sure that my grades are above expectations. Being on the honor roll my entire academic career, so far, is one of my biggest accomplishments. I am enrolled in multiple honors classes and keep my grades high in those select honors classes. In my mind, success starts in the classroom and carries out to the outside world.  I take the extra steps to make sure that I have top academics.

 Playing baseball for many years has taught me many lessons and one of the most important lessons is respect. I always treat the game, coaches, teammates, and officials with the utmost respect. I also see myself as a leader. Working with my teammates and putting the team ahead of my own success is something that I take pride in. I lift up my teammates when things aren't going our way and make sure that we are all on the same page about how to move ahead and improve.
