I am a 6’2” 190-pound multi-sport scholar athlete in the class of 2027 with a clear vision of what I want from my college experience. Specifically, I am looking for an academically challenging college with a competitive baseball program where I can contribute on day one and make a significant impact to the success of the team as I continue to grow and develop.
As a Right-Handed Pitcher I intend to use my physical attributes and competitive attitude to the best of my ability, not just as an individual team member but an important part of the team’s pitching staff.
I am a strong student who puts in the effort to achieve above average results. When applying for entrance at my current high school, based on a standardized test, I earned an academic scholarship that was awarded to approximately 20 students of a class of over 180 students. In high school, I am currently taking multiple honors classes along with an AP class while maintaining a cumulative average of over 93% in every grading period. This is a standard I intend to extend to my academic efforts in college.
I am a coachable and adaptive athlete demonstrating an ability to learn and apply new skills quickly as a student of the game. This was demonstrated through my ability to earn a position on a national level travel volleyball team during my freshman year of high school, despite never playing competitive volleyball and earning my first varsity letter during my sophomore year as a member of an undefeated high school volleyball team.
My long-term goal is to play baseball at the highest level possible leading to a career in sports management. Beyond finding a school with a strong academic and athletic reputation, it is also important to find the right fit in a school which offers a campus experience that will be fun and memorable.
