Personal Statement
I am a team first player and will contribute in any way that I can to help my team win. In my experience this has meant playing a position that the team needs, laying down a sacrifice bunt to move the runner over or coming up with a clutch hit in the last inning of a game. I have played on several different types of teams, with all varying levels of talent. I’ve been fortunate to play on my high school Varsity baseball team as an 8th grader and play on an interstate summer college league as a 15-year-old. I have felt the frustration of a losing streak and the exhilaration of a championship win. In all situations, I maintain my focus on being the best baseball player that I can be. I work hard at baseball on and off the field and am always looking for ways to improve my game. I am as hard working in the classroom and carry the same dedication from the field to my studies. I am hoping that my baseball skills will help me get into a great college and playing baseball for this college will give me an unforgettable experience. I am excited for this opportunity for an education and to keep playing the game I love.
