Joseph Ciminelli '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph Anthony Ciminelli off the field.  On the field, I am Joey, Joe, or Joe Joe. I have been a baseball player since the day I picked up my first bat and ball.  As a young child I tried many sports. I played many sports growing up.  Baseball is my true passion. It always has been. I eat, breathe, and sleep baseball! Baseball is a tremendous part of my life. Not a day goes by that I do not have a bat, ball or glove in my hand.  I play the game and study the sport everyday.  I am a versatile and coachable player, and a committed teammate. Through the years, I have developed my skills offensively and defensively, and I have demonstrated my skills in the infield, outfield, and batter’s box. When I was 10 years old, my love of pitching began. I was given an opportunity, embraced it, and to this day one of my favorite places is on the mound.  I have played on little league teams, club teams, and most recently on junior varsity and varsity level teams.  I hope to continue my baseball career well beyond high school. Playing at the collegiate level has always been a goal of mine and I am ready to do everything I have to do to get there.
