My name is Joey Wargo and in the fall of 2017 I will be a senior at General Brown High School which is located near Watertown, NY. My primary position is as a right handed pitcher. I also play middle infield, primarily shortstop. I am highly invested in continuing my education after graduating from High School as well as continuing to play baseball at the next level. I have been on my Varsity school baseball team since my Freshmen year and was a first team league all-star as a Sophomore and a Junior. I also play on a travel team in the summer as well as an 18U wood bat league that I have been playing on since I was 14. Academically I am a honors student with a current average around a 96. I am on track to earn an advanced regents diploma and have already completed 8 credits of college level math classes through a program offered at my high school with the local community college (Pre-Calculus and Calculus). I am looking for a college that will meet my academic and athletic goals. More specifically, I take great pride in my academics and am passionate about playing baseball at the highest level I can following high school.
