Joseph Ferrante '27 Recruiting Profile

During my collegiate years I plan to prepare myself for my future. I believe my studies are important as well as Baseball. It all started when I was 4 years old. I would watch my brothers baseball games,  run the bases after the game and as I got older I practiced with his team and talked to his coaches. My brother inspired me to play the game I love so much today.  I wouldn't be here today writing this and exploring the learning opportunities that are ahead of me if it wasn’t for him.  By continuing to work hard, staying committed to my goals and never giving up, I know I would be an asset to my college and team.

As a center outfielder I understand how important it is to communicate and show that I’m a leader, both on and off the field. I enjoy being a leader and motivating people. I also value respect.  It’s important to me to show respect to my coaches and teammates.  This is a important way that I show that I'm a team player.  Another way I show I’m a team player is by improving  on my skills and becoming a better baseball player.  This will allow me to continue to be a reliable player and lead me to have a successful college experience.
