Jake Acker '23 Recruiting Profile

      Someday I hope to be a doctor. Not so much to make money but more to help people. However, in achieving that goal I plan on becoming a fully rounded individual through baseball and academics.  I want to play baseball as long as I can and go as far as I can but have my education waiting for me in the next phase of my life  

        I have  some baseball pedigree. My grandfather played minor league baseball for the Senators and White Sox in the late 50s.  My dad and two uncles played Division 1 baseball at Columbia University in the 80s. My brother, Ty,  just received a scholarship to play baseball at The George Washington University. My goal is to be better than all of them!  How?  Through hard work.
     I hope to find a Division 1 academic college that takes its baseball program serious.
