Daniel Bartels '20 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been the center of my life for as long as I remember. My dream has always been to play college baseball, somewhere. I am a huge student of the game, constantly studying and watching baseball every night and going to countless numbers of games in order to try and improve my own. I take pride in doing the little things correctly, whether it’s laying down a sacrifice bunt or coming in to pitch and getting a groundball when needed. As a utility player, there isn’t a position on the field that I can not play well. Each and every day, I dedicate a portion of time to working on my game. I am one of the hardest workers you will find, along with being a great leader on the field. I am very good at balancing schoolwork and baseball, maintaining a 4.0 in all honors and AP classes. I have a very strong faith in God, and I trust and know that he's with me during every step of this recruiting process.
