Philip Mazzola '25 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coach,

My name is Philip Mazzola. I am a  2025 C/UT from Long Island, NY.  I am competitive, have good instincts behind the plate, and can swing it as well. I also pride myself on being a great teammate. My goal for the future and the reason that I am active on this site is to  get the opportunity to show some of the qualities I bring as both a player and person.  I am currently attending St. Anthony's High School.   So far I am maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the accelerated program.  I know I may be early in the process, but I want to do everything I can to insure that I get the chance to be exposed to all the unique opportunities that different schools have to offer.  I know that I have to be a fit not only academically and athletically, but also personally as well. The size of the school is  a priority for me because I know that I will do better with  smaller class sizes. I am very close with my family also, so I would like to attend a school that I will be able to get home pretty easily if necessary. 

      I play for Team Francisco during the summer and fall and was just selected as a starter on St. Anthony's Varsity as a freshman.  I was proud to get this chance and I am determined to show my coaches that it was the right decision. I will continue to update the information throughout the season and hope and expect to see improvements as I continue to work.  I want to make it clear that I will continue to work as hard as I can going forward in order help achieve my goal of attending the best school both academically and athletically that I can get into.   If you think I’m the type of student/athlete that could contribute to your program please let me know.  I would really like to be able to communicate with the coaching staff regularly and increase my chances of attending in 2025.
