Connor Ruland '21 Recruiting Profile

Being part of my high school varsity program as an 8th grader was a major achievement in my baseball career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete when our team lost our last playoff game in an eleven inning game that had to be continued from the day before. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my efforts on becoming a solid baseball player to help my team in any way possible and to play in collegiate level schools. 

I am very fortunate to be part of an amazing program, being part of a varsity program that made it to the playoffs my first year there. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and showing up day in and day out to get better, so that I could help my team out. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the determination, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
