Alexander Spezzano '25 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball for as long as I could remember. I started playing really competitively in 8U travel baseball, and ever since have been in love with the game. One of the goals and aspirations I developed playing baseball at a young age was to play at the college level. I have realized that an opportunity to play at the next level would be a tremendous accomplishment. 

 I work hard year-round in order to accomplish my goal of playing collegiate baseball. All of which include playing high school, and travel baseball, lifting in the gym, and baseball specific hitting and throwing workouts. I also am apart of our high school's varsity basketball team, which helps contribute to be a well rounded athlete. 

I am a fundamentally sound fielder who you can trust anywhere on the field. I also hit for contact, pitch in any situation, and am a smart base runner with a high baseball IQ. I am a team leader, who leads by example. I believe my best attributes are my coachability and hardworking ethic. I strive to be the hardest working playing on the field at all times. 

In the classroom, I challenge myself with college level courses and study hard to maintain 4.0 GPA. Challenging myself to difficult courses while also working hard to exceed in them has taught me how hard work reflects your performance. I strive to be a hardworking person both in the classroom and on the field. I have been inducted into National Honor Society where I spend time volunteering in the community. I have also been rewarded with being on High Honor Roll every marking period of my high school career. 

I want to attend a college where I can continue to challenge myself academically and athletically. I want to ultimately find the college that is best for my academic needs while also fitting me athletically. I believe finding the match to both will set me up best to be success. I lastly hope to be a great role model for my peers, and for the younger members of my community, and make my parents proud of how my dedication has paid off.
